There are many poor families in Madurai rural village struggling to survive. Basic needs, particularly food an everyday problem for poor family members in Madurai, Tamilnadu, including children’s are malnourished. We are selected 80 poor families and distributing total 19kg package of monthly ration to needy family free them from hunger and who’s under poverty.

Rice – 15 kg

Dhall – 1 kg

Cooking oil – 1 litre

Salt – 1 kg

Sugar – 1 kg

Total 19 kg ration pack cost – Rs 875/-

Ration pack @ Rs 875 × 80 poor family cost = 70,000/month

Needy widows, living with helpless, disabled women, destitute old age 

Madurai district is located in the southern part of the Tamilnadu State. It is one of the very Backward Districts in the state. Many families live towards behalf in agriculture. Water is the major Problem in the District. So they are struggling life with low income
