The downtrodden and marginalized children gets admission in government schools in rural India. Government provides them with textbooks, uniforms & bicycle. But nobody support these children with all other school stationary like notebooks, school bag, pen, pencils, geometry box, drawing kit, water bottle, etc. which the parents are also not in a position to provide with. The dropout rate increases significantly due to this and finally they become victim of child marriage/ labor.
I myself have gone through this peculiar situation when my parents could not pay for these items during my primary education. However, I could pass secondary board with 1st rank from the school in 1992 and my parents had to get help from the entire village to get me continue with my education for 11th std in science. After completion my B.Tech. graduation, I have decided to stay back in the same village and support all such children who are facing the same problem, which I had faced in my childhood.
Therefore, I humbly urge you to join me in supporting these children with (at least) 1 note book in order to continue their education. You can also support an education kit containing notebooks, school bag, pen, pencils, geometry box, drawing kit, water bottle, etc (worth Rs.650)
