Mind maps, comic strip making, dramatics, perception forging, alternate uses and clay modelling and more. All in two days' work for the participants of Project Akash, which opens rural and tribal children's minds in AIM for Seva Free Student Homes to the vast sky of imagination.
Project Akash aims to spark the creativity latent in rural and tribal children who reside in AIM for Seva student homes.
Each workshop costs Rs. 21,000, which includes the fee for two creativity trainers (Rs. 13,000), materials for the workshop and beyond (Rs. 5,000) and travel for the trainers (Rs. 3,000)
Extending from the 2-day intervention, 'Akash clubs' will be set up in each home with a continuous follow-up system to track their progress. Through this initiative, we aim to expand the thought process of our children, make them more confident and participative. This little push can catapult them into the skies as they aim to reach for the stars. Help us to conduct the Akash workshop in our Free Student Home in Pondicherry.
