Each one of us knows about at least one person in our friend, family, alumni, office and extended circles who are struggling with Cancer and fighting for survival - physically, mentally and monetarily.

Now imagine what happens when a child in a family is diagnosed with cancer. And there are 80,000 new cases of Childhood Cancer in India each year.
Over the past 5 years, over 400 employees have shaved their head and raised funds in support of children suffering with cancer. This year again, Deutsche Bank is proud to partner with CanKids KidsCan, The National Society For Change For Childhood Cancer in India, for our marquee event Hair For Hope to be held on 9th July. 

Each of our volunteers will participate in the event by shaving their hair to raise funds for children with cancer.

Funds raised will be used for the following purposes:

1. INR 2,000 per child - Back to School kit & DIY material for students
2. INR 5,000 per child - Scholarship for students to continue their foundational level classes (pre-primary and primary classes)
3. INR 7,500 per child – Scholarship for students appearing for Board exams (Students in class 9 to 12th)
