    This fundraiser will benefit

    Underprivileged Menstruators

    from Bangalore

During the COVID-19 pandemic, rural menstruators around India have been unable to access and afford menstrual products due to job losses. Due to the lockdown, only around 15% of Indian girls had access to sanitary pads.

With your help, Cup For Change is planning on donating menstrual kits to help menstruators bleed freely. We have opted towards donating reusable pads as they are more comfortable and do not contain the same toxic chemicals that disposable pads do. Furthermore, they can be used for a longer period of time, reducing the long-term cost of purchasing menstrual products.

Utilization of funds:
- Pouch containing 4 EcoFemme Foldable reusable pads (Ecofemme's most absorbent pad)

Each kit is 400 rupees and will support a woman for over 5 YEARS.

Periods Don’t Stop for Pandemics, and Neither Will We.

We have a brand partnership with Ecofemme. Ecofemme is a global empowerment initiative that produces and sells washable cloth pads as well as provides menstrual health education. They will provide reusable pads for us to donate to underprivileged menstruators in Bangalore.

We have a distribution partnership with Aahwahan Foundation. Aahwahan Foundation has helped lakhs of individuals by promoting the welfare of the economically backward sections of the society. They are helping us distribute reusable pads to underprivileged college girls and educating them on how to maintain and use cloth pads.

Cup For Change is an initiative started by 2 high school students in 2020 to help promote sustainable menstruation through the usage of menstrual cups and remove the taboo surrounding period conversations. Since then, they have educated over 2000 individuals and helped convert over 100 menstruators to using menstrual cups.
