I am Dyaneswaran, a resident of Chennai and a student in my 3rd year of Engineering at SSN College of Engineering.My father, Sivasankaran is in a life-threatening situation at the Critical Care Unit of the Apollo Hospitals, Greams Road and is in dire need of an emergency liver transplant to survive.My father’s liver has failed completely due to a medical disorder called the cirrhosis of the liver and we have been told that the damage taken is irreversible and cannot be treated through medical treatment and the only chances of his survival is by performing a live transplant.procedure costs an outstanding amount of ₹28 Lakhs and is completely out of our hands to pay such a big amount in a short period of time. We are at our wit’s end.I, the son, have already agreed to donate a part of my liver and I have undergone the required tests to become a donor for my father and I have been clinically approved by the hepatologist. We have also tried several alternatives to amass the said amount like applying for loan against a property, selling our land property but to no avail. All those methods take several months to get processed and, in our case, time is a crucial factor We are only a small circle of people, completely ignored and abandoned by our relatives, with no other viable options at our disposal to arrange for the money.I really hope you consider our case and take some pity and help us. My father is the most important breadwinner in our entire family circle.This is a desperate cry for help, one that needs to be answered by kind, generous souls.
