I want to raise funds for my maid. She has a son who is physically challenged. He can't walk or talk and he is bed ridden. She needs to buy him his medicine to help him sustain.
Recently her husband died and that let to a huge debt of about 1.5lacs on her. She is struggling for work as she has lost all the work she was doing as the rituals according to the custom withheld her at home for over a month.
The cremation plus the rituals that follow the death i.e calling relatives spending on their food n accommodation till the 13th day put her in this debt. She said that her in laws did not pay even a penny saying that now that the son is no more, no one can hold them responsible. She being the wife had to take this debt. Also, now the son has not been treated for months. Doctors will have to restart the medicine for him for which she has no money now. They will also see what best they can do for the boy.
