GADGETSHALA
Each and every kid has some or the other dream which they aspire to be in future and want to start work on their dreams in some manner. Children who cannot even afford their dreams still have it in back of their mind which could get fulfilled by intense learning about that subject. Due to the current situation learning has almost or totally has been put on hold for the children who cannot get access to the smart phones because that is the only medium through which learning can keep going as for now and in coming future.
In India there are so many people who cannot access to gadgets or to buy even if it’s a necessity in today’s time. Buying a smart phone is also a luxury to poor people.
I chose this project because education is the basic and essential part of any human beings living. These kids are too the part of the future and may help and be the part of the economy to contribute in, which is only possible if they get the proper and constant education. Right to education is the basic fundamental right which needs to be fulfilled for all children in the country.
In current situation the poor people are the sufferers and specially those kids who are not able to get proper education.  The main cause is the distorted connection between the teacher and the students, the children who are willing to study also aren’t able to study because they can’t afford a smart phone to get their online classes or complete their homework. This causing is costing them their education which may hamper in future.
We maybe cannot give them a new smart phone but can contribute some amount to help them buy a new phone or any gadget which may help them to complete the distorted connection between the students and teacher.
Covid-19 has affected a lot on the education as just 24 percent have access to the internet, according to a government survey. In rural India, the numbers are far lower with only 4 per cent households having access.
Nearly 16 lakh children from poor family study in government school in Delhi and have already disrupted in their studies without access to internet and smart phones.
Helping these people in short period of time is difficult but at least few steps can be taken to help such people.
For helping such people first priority is to set internet connection facilities.
A basic laptop cost around Rs.25000-30000.
Desktop costs around Rs.26000
1 tablet costs around Rs.10000.
An action needs to be taken for such people. For the betterment of society their education is an essential part. We need to broaden the scope through helping them. The project maybe not able to fulfill the individual needs by providing gadgets to the household but definitely can provide common gadgets by setting up in a common van. So that they could get sometime and establish a way to get their education.
