Who we are:
We are a group of small land holding organic farmers in a small village called Pangna in Karsog valley, Himachal Pradesh. In the group are 13 farmers who grow more than 25 varieties of crops, fruits and vegetables. Our group is PGS (Participatory Guarantee System) certified.
We are confident that a complete independence from chemical fertilizers and pesticides makes our crops safer, healthier and higher in nutritional value than conventional chemical farming.
But inspite of this the farmers here are marginalized.
What we want to achieve:
We want to setup a small local shop here in Pangna in which we can store and sell our organic products to local as well as outside markets. We hope that this will help us get better prices for our produce and spread the awareness of organic products across the communitites.
