Hello there! 

My name is Albin G Koshy

I'm a student in St. Columba's School of class 12th. Recently, our school had collaborated with a NGO called "Hamari Pahchan" to introduce an extra curricular project for the students of class 12th. All the students were asked to make a fundraiser on the basis of the topics provided to help the NGO spread and prosper. But there was one topic which left me intrigued and inspired at the same time and I knew right then I had to take the initiative.

It was a project named "SUKHAD" which basically aimed at providing sanitary products and proper education regarding menstruation to underprivileged women to ensure proper menstrual hygiene. We live in a society revolving around taboos and superstitions. People are ashamed to talk about this issue, no political parties show any concern regarding this issue. Lets break these taboos and raise our voices for the cause.

Hamari Pahchan also aims to empower rural women and make pad making machines for mass production of pads for underprivileged women.
WE ARE PLANNING TO DISTRIBUTE AROUND 10K SUKHAD KITS TO UNDERPRIVILEGED WOMEN throughout the year. 

Per kit price: 

Sukhad kit for 1 woman = Rs. 1,400/- 

Sukhad kits for 5 women = Rs 7,000/- 

KIT INCLUDES 24 packets of the sanitary pad 6 packets of soap Disposable paper envelopes. I respectfully request that you all donate to this cause. You can donate as much as you want.  Even a single penny makes a significant difference. It doesn't matter how much you donate, what matters is how much you are willing to save a life. 

By not donating you'll turning your back towards those poor women.
