Dear All,
This is regarding the toddlers who went through a disaster (sexual abuse) of their life in February this year, in the Bellandur pre-school premises in Bangalore, India.
Deeply encouraged with the support received from people around the city, the parents of kids affected in the case have created this platform to do everything possible to take the perpetrators of the heinous crime to justice against all odds.
Our objective is to on-board a credible lawyer experienced in POCSO cases and passionate about the cause, to fight with the system and ensure that the criminal is held guilty along-with the school management who is accountable in every possible way. One of the respected lawyers has graciously agreed to take up our cases which is 7 in number.
The cost for his appointment, estimated approx Rs 12-13 Lakhs needs to be borne by the parents. However in a heart-warming gesture, the local community has come forward in support of the affected kids / parents by contributing towards the cause, and share the financial burden to the extent possible.
So far, about Rs 1.5 lakhs has already been committed, and we are positive that this outreach will help us reach closer to the overall goal.
We hope with your support in this case, we can set an example for systemic changes that prevent Child Abuse. Example – More conducive laws, guidelines and processes for the affected parents and children, more stringent laws against the school authorities so they start taking ownership and take more responsibility to prevent these issues going forward etc.

It has been an ordeal for all of us parents and especially our little ones.
They have been courageous enough along with us to keep this matter alive and we have tried to leave no stone unturned either by bringing this issue to media or even knocking doors of authority till the Capital where we were left disappointed.
Hence, we are more determined to set our case as an example and fight it out till our last breath as much as as we can to get justice for our children.
This will not only strengthen safety for your kids across India in preschools and play schools but also give confidence that our system can change and justice does prevail.
