3-year-old Kabir is suffering from end-stage liver cirrhosis along with biliary atresia. Kabir's has been under treatment since he was born. His father, Nayeem, is the only earning member in the family. His mother, Sameera, is a homemaker. Kabir has an elder sister who is 6 years old.
Kabir's Misery Started Just 15 Days After Birth
15 day old Kabir was taken to the hospital since his jaundice didn't subside. Medical investigations showed that he suffered from Biliary Atresia.
Doctors advised to do Kasai procedure which involves removing the blocked bile ducts and gall-bladder. Doctors informed the family that if the surgery is not successful, then only a liver transplant will save Kabir.Kabir's parents spent everything they had to keep him alive till now
