Hi, my name is Pradyumna, I have recently joined the Jeet Kune do Foundation of India as their Chief Patron. We've been invited to participate in the world martial arts games to be held in Bangkok from 12th to 22nd of March. There shall be 80 children from the Indian contingent - mostly underprivileged. We had started with an initial budget of Rs. 42 Lakh towards their kitting, boarding, lodging air fare + miscellaneous. Thankfully, we've been able to organize most of the required funding, due to small over sight on our part we seemed to have miscalculated our requirement.
I am hoping that you would help us cover some of the remaining amount. Our requirement is Rs. 2.17 Lakh. We would be greatful if you could contribute as little as Rs. 500 or more and help us in achieving this amount. If you cannot contribute for whatsoever reason, we completely understand - but would be great if you could share this to anyone who will be willing to help out.
In a brief, these kids have just returned from Nepal won the tournament. These are talented youngsters looking to pursue their passion of martial arts - please come and support us. Every little help
matters.
I am sharing a personal letter sent to us by the Mr. Sarbananda Sonowal, the minister of youth affairs and sports.
