Sponsorship for Jagriti Yatra 2018 - 2019
Who am I ?
My name is Amit Narayan. I reside in Patna, Bihar, India. Currently I am working on transforming education in govt school of Bihar. I have adopted one school in Nalanda, Bihar, India near the ruins of Nalanda University. I have been working here from last 10 month. I have been teaching student from class 1 - 8. I have been implemented various activities such as drawing, art & craft, sport, motivational class, cultural activities, etc.
I have a dream of transforming education system in Bihar. For this I left my job after working 3.5 year in software industries. I wanted to open a non profit organisation called Let's Develop India Foundation (not registered yet). I wanted to utilize this opportunities to nurture myself so that I can provide better education to my children to whom I have promised. I wanted to participate in Jagriti Yatra 2018 - 2019, but I don't have money to attend it. So I need external sponsorship of Rs 36000.
About Jagriti Yatra -
Jagriti Yatra is a 15-day long, national train journey that will take you 8000 kilometers across the length and breadth of India, to understand and build the India of smaller towns and villages through enterprise. You will meet role models, change-makers, leaders that started out on a journey just like you and made a difference to thousands of lives. You will forge bonds with like-minded young leaders- your co-Yatris and complete strangers. They will become your closest friends and comrades for life. You will be exposed to role models who are building India through enterprise; through them you will find inspiration to undertake your own building journey. Jagriti Yatra starts on 24 Dec 2018 from Mumbai.
500 youngsters, selected from thousands of applicants, many from smaller towns and villages, join the Yatra every year, with the goal of creating awareness and start a movement of 'building India through enterprise'.
Why I wanted to participate Jagriti Yatra?
Jagriti Yatra will help transform my own journey. I have been working in rural area for last 10 month alone. In Bihar there are 70k govt school to reach each and every school will be difficult. Every school has its own challenges. Jagriti yatra will open door for me to meet with same minded people who are too like me working on field with new idea and approach, a diverse group of mentor from different field. This journey will help me evolve better version of me and help me to form my team to do best for my children.
Sponsored Amount Required -
The cost of the whole journey is 36000. out of which 6000 is the registration charge and 30000 is the yatra contribution fee.
I want to assure you that you effort in help me in this journey while help those deprive children in rural area, who are waiting for their GOD to help them.
