Support Annadhanam at Isha Yoga Center
The offering of food, or Annadanam, sustains the work of Isha volunteers who have dedicated their life to various spiritual and social initiatives of the foundation. At the Isha Yoga Center, Annadanam happens twice a day, with brahmacharis, sanyasis, volunteers and everyone staying in the ashram partaking of this offering in silence.
Annadanam on Festival Days:
Annadanam is offered on special festival days such as Mahashivrati, Guru Purnima, the three-day Yaksha festival and during the nine days of Navratri to several thousand people who visit the Isha Yoga Center. It is also offered on every Purnima, all year long. Annadanam is not just an offering of physical nourishment, it is the distribution of prasadam by the willing hands of volunteers.
