I teach a batch of super curious, intelligent, talented kids who come from under-privileged communities. They are eager to learn, always looking forward to new things to do. They do their best at studies, curricular activities and sports, yet there is so much more that can be done. Many of these kids suffer due to family problems or monetary issues. These kids lack the exposure that students from high-income schools get. Many of these kids are first-generation school goers. You can help these students by donating a small part of your money which will be used for the following cause. 1. Field trips - visits to science exhibitions, planetarium 2. Providing them with everyday worksheets - Students get to work on worksheets designed to their learning levels ( as compared to common test papers for everyone) 3. Cultural events - An annual cultural event with all the schools where TFI works in, is organized where the students participate in a range of literary and sports activities 4. Class library - To inculcate the reading habit, the students have their own class library and can borrow and read books from the same. 5. Book racks/ shelves - for the books in the class library 6. Board games - Educative games like TANGRAM, Scrabble, Sentence formation, Math lab stuff , crossword books, Sudoku books, logical reasoning books and so on help the students to learn in an interactive environment. 7. Science lab : Setting up a science lab which has some simple experiments that can be carried out by the students using everyday things like balloons, bottles, toys etc
