Govt upgraded Higher primary School, KEREHALLI, CHAMARAJANAGARA Tq N Dist , KARNATAKA was established in 1924. Just a few years back we had a strength of nearly 500 students. But today it is decreased to 100. This fact feared us that our school may get closed in future. So we the staff decided to improve our school in various dimensions by providing basic facilities like drinking water, girls toilets, good infrastructure etc. To achieve these goals we are taking the help of zilla panchayath and grama panchayath. on the other hand we r focussing on making a Science n Maths lab with a smart class for activity based learning . we prepared a project in this regard. contacted a few companies n friends for help. Mysore paints and varnishes Mysore branch helped Rs 75,000 for smart class. Also a few friends from Brazil, Germany n locals helped econamically.Nearly 1.25lakhs of teaching learning materials accumulated till the date. For the following reamaining works we need some more help.
1. Civil works( Tiles, POP, Granite slabs, dias, Alminium windows, Iron door, wiring, Plumbing work, cupboards, glass slabs, roof repair, etc)--

2. Projector with stand--Rs 37,900.00
3. Solar TV (with Maths Science and English contents of 5th, 6th and 7th std)--Rs 82,500.00
4. Eyeris interactive white board kit--Rs 40,000.005. Science models/materials--Rs 80,000.00
6. Maths models/materials--Rs 80,000.00
7. Laptop--Rs 29,804.00
8. Fans(5)--Rs 12,500.00
9. Solar (for the whole laboratory)--Rs 1,24,500.00
10. Chairs with writing pad--Rs 80,000.00
11. CC Camera--Rs 28,119.00
12. Epson L 360 Printer--Rs 10,380.00
13. Outer wall n grills--Rs 30,000.00
14. Etc--Rs 25,000.00

Mysore paints and varnishes of Mysore branch donated Rs 75,000.00 towards smart class. A latop and a projector is purchased on the same.
For solar TV (serial no 3) we contacted Menda foundations Bangalore. The foundation is agreed to put Rs 37,500.00. Remaining amount is to be invested from our side.
Pavithra Sathish kumar from Brazil, shivuswamy from Germany, Kiran kumar from PUNA , Shivashankara Aradhya an engineer from Mysore and some other locals are also donated towards the lab. Nearly Rs 1.25 Lakhs are gathered till the date. Using this amount Science and maths learning materials are purchased already.
We accept the donations in the form of both materials and money.
