Hi,
This is Sakshi Sem. My father, Vishal Sem, was detected with Nasopharyngeal Cancer-Stage 2B in 2015. He underwent 2 rounds of Chemotherapy in 2015.
Unfortunately he has a relapse of cancer - 3rd Stage.
He is currently undergoing treatment at Godrej Hospital and Hiranandani Hospital.
His only hope is 3 cycles of conventional chemotherapy and 6 cycles of targeted chemotherapy followed by radiation therapy.
The treatment, also needs food to be injected to him through surgically inserted tubes in his stomach since he is unable to swallow any solids or liquids. This liquid nutrition feed has to be administered to him through tubes to boost the body's natural defenses to fight the cancer.
The entire treatment is likely to cost in the range of Rs. 8,75,000 as of now. The total cost of which is not affordable by us at the moment and this cost is likely to increase.
My father, Vishal is also the sole earning member of the family. However since the relapse he has not been able to generate income but the expenses have kept mounting.
Unfortunately, health insurance is not enough and we alone cannot reach our target goal of raising Rs. 8,75,000
