Thousands of villagers of Vilunthamavadi among other villages have been displaced,  lost their means to livelihood and a roof on their heads since the time Gaja Cyclone hit. Families have moved to their neighbors houses, public shelters, and even to the roads, bus stands since there's nowhere else to go.

 At a time of such catastrophe, we all need to join our hands and help as much as we can.

We are a community radio station called Kalanjiam Samuha Vanoli at Vilunthamavadi, who are trying to help our neighbors, our community, the most affected people, by rebuilding their roofs, the damaged parts of their houses and helping them resurrect their lives.
