My Name is Jyoti, I am raising fund for my elder sister, Reena Kumari, Battling for life due to Covid-19 from 28/04/2021 (32 days now as of 30/05/2021). Her condition is very serious with high requirement of oxygen supply on Ventilator/ICU. Covid has badly affected her lungs and there are other covid related complications.

Her HRCT score is 25/25 which implies her lungs are 100% infected. Before Covid Infection, on 22/04/2021 she had a 5+month baby miscarriage because of pregnancy related complications. For the treatment,  she was admitted to a hospital in Ghaziabad and from there she got Covid infection even after taking all precautions and that was a non-Covid hospital.

Just after coming from the hospital, she suffered fever and body ache and later on 27th April night breathlessness and had to admitted to the Max Hospital on 28/04/2021. On admission she was tested covid-19 positive, and her Oxygen saturation levels were 50%, falling rapidly. She was given NIV (Non-Invasive Ventilation), but condition became worsen on 05th May and her oxygen saturations fall below 40 and the Doctor shifted her to Mechanical Ventilator (Invasive) with intubation with 100% oxygen supply.

For the last 32 days but her oxygen dependency is really high and not reducing. and for the last 25 days, she is under an invasive mechanical ventilator. Now she contracted a fungal infection, other Covid related complications and her condition is degrading day by day. The doctor recommended that she might need a lung transplant, if the lungs condition do not improve. She is on regular antibiotic and other medications to stabilize the condition, her oxygen requirement level is extremely high and this condition could persist for longer duration.

My family has already paid for the expenses till now from saving and loans and we are financially exhausted. As the required amount is huge, I request you to kindly contribute towards the treatment and help us. Each contribution is very important for us!
