Ramesh bhai, 38 years old, belongs to Tapi district, Gujarat and works as a farm labourer and earns Rs. 5000 a month to sustain his family of 6. He was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia in February 2019 and is being treated at New Civil Hospital, Surat.

He has three little children to look after and he is the only bread earner in the family. To survive, he needs medication for lifetime. This medicine would cost him at least Rs. 2,500 every month.
