Nandini  6yrs old little girl of our village Neradeul, West Medinipur. She was born of a poor family of daily worker. Her father Arun is known to me. During my recent visit to my village Arun met me to tell that Nandini has long been suffering from Rectovaginal fistula. She was diagnosed this when she was one and half year old. Doctor suggested operation. At that time estimated cost was Rs.50000/-. As Arun could hardly earn square meal for his family by working as daily paid worker he could not afford such huge expenditure. Now that Nandini has grown up (6yrs.) Her disease has become more complicated being left untreated for long. Attending surgeon advised immediate operation. Estimated cost now for the said operation and other expenditure is around Rs.100000/-. Arun's present monthly income as daily worker is around six thousand. That too is subject to availability of work on regular basis.His average monthly income is 2000(BPL) in last 3 year, So neither he has any means to afford this huge expense of his own nor anybody is willing to give him this amount on loan basis. During my last visit to my village this helpless father implored me to help him save her dear daughter. I am deeply moved. I helped him initially but l am unable to afford such huge expense alone. In the mean time I have reviewed all the prescriptions and forwarded to my friends who are surgeon to validate the case. So I appeal to all to come forward with donation of any amount so that a poor helpless father can save his dear daughter.
