Help My Dad Fight Cancer

Story

My dad ran a small Kirana store in the valley of Dehradun all his life. Stress, family pressure, influence of friend circle and lot many other factors induced habit of tobacco which he quit after few years. Gradually the lining inside his mouth stared to thicken and his jaw opening reduced to two fingers. 20years later, a tumor happened on one side of his mouth which burst into a non healing wound. Several tests were conducted and post biopsy malignancy was confirmed. We took him to Jolly Grant hospital in 2015 for sub-mucus-fibrosis surgery to remove the tumor. In the process, his mandible also had to be removed (a big portion of his jaw) followed by radiotherapy. Post op recovery has been slow and left him dependent on nose feeding. Dad lost lots of weight, has turned lean, reduced to a bag of bones and cannot get up from the bed. His blood reports are fine but due to heavy chest congestion cannot breathe well. In Jan 2018 we again admitted him  to hospital as he was unable to breathe and eat. This is his fifth hospitalisation and has drained me of all savings. How much can a salaried person from middle class family afford so much. It's painful to see him bed ridden and struggling to breathe as much as the mounting bills. Please come forward to help me in this hour of crisis. A fight and awareness for cancer. Short of funds by 1lac. Help me save my dad. He is admitted in Combined Medical College, Haridwar Road, Dehradun.
