    This fundraiser will benefit

    Homeless in Delhi

    from Delhi

Let Christmas arrive early this season!
It’s time for hot chocolate and warm toddy, snoozing the alarm and getting warm under your duvets. This winter you could do all that and more!!

While we sit in the warmth of our homes, there are tons of homeless people, old and young, on the streets who lie shivering on the footpaths of our city, hoping to get by this season!

We can help them with a mere donation of INR200, which can help keep one person warm.

If you are not willing to shell out money but have old usables (can be sweaters, jackets, blankets, shawls, stoles, gloves, caps, socks & shoes), we will be happy to collect that from a convenient location from you. (contact info. below)

Help us spread some warmth and light up some smiles! :)

Background:
We conducted same drive last year, reaching out only to our friends, colleagues, and family. It was a very successful event, however this year we realized that since we would reach out to same set of people, our collections would see a major dip (as most do not have many woolens to spare again this year). That, and in the hope of increasing our impact and reaching out to 100 individuals (REALLY HOPING!), we decided to scale up our initiative by reaching out to all you compassionate individuals!

Please join us in this small effort to help some souls.

We promise to keep this space updated with our progress.

1. Richa Bahl (9873533179) : An MBA holder, marketeer by profession (experience working with Edelman), and now an entrepreneur (founder of fashion accessory platform, KalaChowk) is passionate about social causes and actively volunteers as an opportunity presents itself.

2. Gaurav Tandon (9911111141) : A Business Economics graduate, who has been working with Cvent, is equally enthusiastic about social causes. His car is always stocked with juices and biscuits to give away at traffic signals!

3. Ishita Gupta (9899611833) : An Economics graduate, currently working at Bain & Co., who hopes to be a social entrepreneur one day, volunteers her time for social causes as and when possible.

4. Lubin Arora (9899536436) : A Business Economics graduate, currently working at Bain & Co., understands the importance of social responsibility. He strongly opposes giving away money to people begging on signals, but is  a big propagator of helping meet their specific needs (such as warm clothes, food, job, skills, etc.).
