Asmita is 26 years old. In spite of a bachelors degree, she cannot hold a job due to a hearing disability that was caused as a side effect of a medical treatment she received a few years ago. Her mother works as a domestic help who cannot afford to pay a large sum of money for the hearing aid. Asmita decided to work to raise enough money for the same but her current employer has decided to let her go as the disability is affecting her work.
