    This fundraiser will benefit

    Youtube and Zorro and Cookie

    from New Delhi, Delhi

This initiative is to raise funds for 3 dogs who have had a very difficult start to life and now have some hope of finding a forever home.

All of these dogs are desi/indie dogs, who had difficult past and did not find homes in India and now have a chance to find a forever home in the US. Meredith K Allen is helping us get these dogs to the US and Street Dog Hero (Portland based rescue - https://streetdoghero.org/) has got ready to take them in. However transportation costs to the US are very huge and that's what we need your help with!

Please find the details as below

Youtube
Youtube was found as a tiny pup near a woman’s home. She feeds the local community dogs there and how the pup reached there is not known. It seems that he might have got separated from his mother and siblings. Youtube was very dehydrated when found and he was being attacked by big dogs in the surrounding. This kind woman rescued him and took him under her wing where he has grown and thrived ever since.
Please find the screenshot of chat with Marianne (the founder of Street Dog Hero) attached for Youtube. He's not online because he's now "foster-to-adopt"

Cookie
Cookie was found wandering around when she was about a month old. There was no mother or sibling in sight and it would have been impossible for her to survive on her own at such a young age. Hence she was rescued by a lady and she tried her best to get Cookie adopted however nothing came out of it.

Zorro
Zorro is about 1.5 yrs old and has been abandoned by his family as they were not able to take care of him. They had picked Zorro from the street when he was about 30-40 days old and now that he had grown up and became and adult dog, they just wanted to get rid of him. They were ready to just put him back on the streets or leave him in some shelter without caring how difficult it would be for Zorro to survive in such an environment after living in a house for more than a year. He was then taken in by a woman so he doesn't end up on streets.

As you all know, it is almost impossible for these dogs find a home in India as they are indie dogs.

We are working with Mr. Varun from Airpets (www.airpets.com) to get these dogs transported to Portland. Please help us raise funds for their travel to the US so these innocent beings have a second chance at life and can have a lifetime of love and care ❤

We will keep you all posted about their updates when they travel to the US and find their forever homes!
