The open heart and valve replacement surgery of my nephew, Waqqas Tabrez suffering from congenital acyanotic heart disease was done on 24th September at JNMCH, Aligarh. On 2nd October his blood report showed positive malaria and dengue. His platelet count was decreasing day by day after that. On 4th October, the count went down to 10,000 and he was given 5 packs of platelets and the count came to 22000. Then again it showed further decrease due to mass destruction of platelets. He was given Jumbo bag of platelets on 6th October night. On 7th October CBC report showed the count to be 26000 and again a Jumbo bag of platelets was given but his condition became even more critical. He is constantly unconscious and unable to speak. We took him to Jaypee Hospital, Sector 128 Noida. Recovery of the child was going in right direction and ventilator support was ended on 15th October. But there was sudden fall in his health condition since last night due to lung and chest infection (owing to continuous secretion). He is again on ventilator.
Now billing of the hospital might cost much more and it has already amounted to 879093/-
