VITC Formula Electric is a student-built student-funded Formula-E team hailing from the prestigious Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai. The team has 50+ members from various engineering discipline such as mechanical, electrical etc. The team’s sole aim is to design, conceptualize and fabricate a student-level electric formula-type car worth competing against the best SAE teams in the world both nationally and internationally.

Founded in 2015, the team has always found success at its doorstep as the team has secured a podium finish in each of its appearances at the Formula Green, the premier student EV competition in India till date. The team has also received the “Best Encouraging Team” award for its good performance at the FSAE Australasia 2017 held at Calder Park, Melbourne. With the team going forward at full speed since its inception, there seems to be no brake to the FE Juggernaut’s road to international success.
The car made by the team goes for the SAE competition to compete with other highly funded teams from across the world. Those team out there in different countries are supported by their organizations. We, an INDIAN Formula Student team also need your support to host the INDIAN flag high on the international ground. This is the team's 4th car in the making. The team is going to participate in two national events in the year 2019 namely, Formula Bharat ( January 2019) and Formula Green (Februray 2019)  
We request everyone out there to help us with their valuable funds so that no one can stop us to achieve our goals, to give the nation a better engineer which the nation needs now. Your contribution will be a great help to us. Your funds will help us buy new technology and high-quality materials that are required to increase our level and hence achieve and taste more success. Manufacturing an electric vehicle by a group of students who are currently doing there bachelor degree (BTech.) requires lots of dedication and plenty of hard work which we are capable of.  Unfortunately, we are lacking with the funds to fabricate a high quality and revolutionary car to compete in events. The team fabricates the whole car on its own. We are one of the youngest team all over the world and yet one of the best. We promise to every single person helping us, you would feel proud when you will see that your donations are worth it, after seeing our next year achievements and results. 

The beneficiary, Mr. Shiv Prasad Rajput is a senior member of the team who handles the finances of our team. Mr. Tushar Singh who is a senior member of the management team who has been given the responsibility to run this campaign.
