My name is Venkatachalapathy.
Vinod, my nephew and patient, is an haemophilic patient (a non-curable inherited disease that impairs the body's ability to make blood clots) who recently met with an accident when he was on his way to buy medicines. Due to the accident he is suffering from multiple fractures in his leg which is now difficult to fix without operation. As of now his leg is supported by POP done from Victoria Hospital. Due to diagonal fractures the doctor is suggesting that the only possible way to fix will be through an operation. The complication in the case is that as he is an haemophilic patient he constantly needs to be provided with blood factor VIII (a clotting protein). The operation needs to be performed at St. Johns hospital, Bangalore. He is also registered with the Haemophilic society, which is helping us in certain provisions.
We require help in raising funds for the operation and medicines which comes up to Rs 1,50,000.
