Help Us To Rescue Street Animals

Tax benefits
Every month VCARE rescues 100's of injured and abused street animals in and around Vadodara. To continue with our work for the next 3 months we need funds to ensure help for these innocent, voiceless creatures of God.
We are a registered, not-for-profit organization with the single aim of providing effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
Since 1997, the Vadodara Center for Animal Rescue and Emergency (VCARE) has tried to alleviate pain, fear and suffering in all animals. It was founded by a group of caring citizens who recognised the inhumane treatment suffered by many animals in our society.
We look forward to your support which can go a long ways in saving a life.

The evening feeding of street animal we started during the COVID - 19 lockdown has been a boon for these children of a lesser God. With your help and support we hope to continue with this activity although the lockdown has been lifted. Monsoon is around the corner and will make it difficult for strays to find food. Please help us continue to feed street animals.

In the nation wide lockdown we have been feeding over 120 street animals, mainly street dogs every evening and giving them water to avoid dehydration in the relentless heat. Today is our 55th day of feeding stray animals in the evening.

Dear Supporters,

There are over half a million street animals in and around the city who are hungry and thirsty with the temperatures soaring and their main source of food available no more as all food carts and restaurants are closed.  Their regular feeders are under a strict lock-down as the whole city is declared as high risk.

In view of this, a month ago we started sending our mobile healthcare van with food and water to different areas of the city after our shelter closes for the day. Our team feeds on an average between 100-120 street dogs and often cats and cows as well every evening. Our team also treat injured animals on the spot if possible.

We are close to running out of funds to continue with this evening feeding activity during the lockdown and depend on you to help us keep it going in these unprecedented times.

We feed the animals milk and Poha (flattened rice flakes) mixed with Pedigree, Drools or Chappi. We spend Rs 1,800 ( $25) every day for the lockdown feeding activity and will appreciate your support to help us continue to feed street animals at this time. Please continue your support.
