    This fundraiser will benefit

    Bilikwalk International Foundation

    from Delhi

The purpose of this fundraiser is to partly finance one centre in UP which will empower at least 100000  deprived youths and impact lives of about 5 lacks poor people.

Bilikwalk International Foundation (bilikwalk.org) ,registered with Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Govt of India is a non-profit, non-partisan and Independent organisation dedicated to create favourable conditions and opportunities for the holistic development and empowerment of the poor and weaker sections of our society.

We believe in research with action and work for improving the living conditions of the poor and unprivileged people and for a sustainable and inclusive growth of India.

BIF feels that the governments of the day, both at the centre and the states are doing a lot for the poor and weaker sections , but benefits of various schemes of development are not reaching the target groups on ground in the same measure as intended by these governments and the policy makers. BIF proposes to establish various centres at different locations in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh for better implementation of these policies and schemes of the central as well as state governments through an awareness and informational campaign, establishing sound communication system; and through its own workshops, seminars and training programmes.

Besides, BIF will try to do proper research on the various  problems of the deprived  sections related to sanitation, cleanliness, drainage system, health, hygiene and education, and such others affecting entire marginalised population of that area which if resolved would be a great step forward in their empowerment. Empowering such groups through health, education and skill development  programmes to enhance their employability, etc., and through their inclusion in other development programmes on a large scale will be our focus.

This is only possible when actual facts and data of a varied nature  will be collected first and analysed by our research team and the obstacles and problems for their pathetic conditions are identified. Any well-intended programme is of little or no value for the people if they themselves are not empowered enough to take maximum benefits of such schemes .

Besides, a full proof communication mechanism based on digital technology will be developed at these centres for monitoring, evaluation, control and coordination of centres activities. No doubt, these centres will act as grievance and support cells for the common, illiterate, and poor people and empower them to a large extent.

BIF intends to act for poor farmers as well by making them aware of any programs for them. In this regard, BIF intends to act as coordinator, monitor, educator and trainer for them.Innovative methods with the use of latest technology will be applied for upkeeping the record of such schemes, and the list of beneficiaries from amongst the farmers will also be updated on a regular basis so that the marginal farmers and the agricultural labourers are not missed out. The farmers will also be given training for basic use of digital technology and will be empowered with knowledge and information through informal education and training programmes. Besides, informal education in health, hygiene and sanitation, skill and personality development  to enhance employability of the youths, will be undertaken by the centres on a large scale to have a real positive impact on the ground.
All this can be done only while working in the field at the ground level, hence there is a need and purpose of this project. The project is only- of- its- kind in nature and unique in its scope. It is intended for the welfare of the poor and the disadvantaged groups of our society and it gives ample scope for their empowerment. With our focus and commitment to the project, it is likely to create a milestone in improving the situation on ground.
