Sushelamma - house keeper, 60 yr old granny to her recently orphaned grand daughter - now her only son is fighting TB.

Our household has known Sushelamma for almost 10 years now. This dedicated, honest, hard working lady has seen tragedy after tragedy in the last couple of years.
Last year, her daughter, having no economic clout or will power to fight TB that was dogging her, committed suicide. And she left behind 5 year old baby Yashasvini for Sushelamma to care. I have seen Sushelamma and her son, Harish, a daily wage earner, care for Yashu with all that they can muster. Yashu also goes to an English medium school - courtesy her uncle and her granny.

a month ago, Harish came down with an unknown lung disorder. Upon admission at the RajaRajeshwari Medical College and Hospital (RRMC), Mysore Road, Bengaluru,  the doctors suspected TB and since the amount pus in the lungs was above normal, they decided to drain it with a chest tube drainage. After weeks at RRMC, Harish didn't recover. Now, Harish is again admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi  hospital in Jayanagar. Doctors are yet to make a clear prognosis - meanwhile Harish seems to be losing it.

Sushelamma is a Below Poverty Line card holder. 

The govt is helping her with cheaper beds, almost free medical procedures etc. But, she still has to pay for medicines, diagnostic lab fees, medical procedure equipments etc. It's running to 1000s of INR every month. And beyond that, even Yashu has to be taken care of. We, in the locality, have helped her with whatever monetary help we could. But, her bills are way beyond that. And it will surge over time.

Please help Sushelamma.
Please help Yashu. We don't want a 6 year old to drop out and become a coolie.
Please help Harish get back on his feat.
