'Hope', is the only word that has brought me before you to say a few words about myself...
I can vividly remember my school, college, university days: days full of merriment, exuberance and unbridled joy still bring a smile on my face.
Everything was going smoothly and happily until the doctors diagnosed me with Bone Malignancy (blood cancer) in March 2018.
But one thing I must say, till now I have undergone a slew of chemos, bone marrow tests and many others, but never lost my willpower. It is really very essential for me and for my mother. My mother has already lost her husband to this fatal disease when I was just 2 years old. She can't bear the pain one more time. Being an interim employee at an Anganwadhi kendra, it was impossible for her to arrange funds for my treatment, so my uncle had to sell out all his farm lands to bear the massive expenses of the treatment.
I was truly hopeful that one day I shall recover and this black period will subside slowly.
But on 17th October 2018, I was given a hammer blow by the doctors at the TATA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL (BOMBAY) when they released me and suggested a bone marrow transplant that costs nearly 35 lakh rupees. I have lost all hope of recovery.
It is impossible for my family to arrange such a gigantic amount by any means.
So now all I need is your support. Your little contribution means a lot to me. It's my earnest request to all of you to support me from your level best.
