My Two-Month-Old Baby Needs Urgent Heart Surgery, Please Save Him

My 2-month-old baby Samadarshi Dutta is like any other infant. One glance at his smiling eyes, and it becomes difficult to even imagine how fleeting his life could be if not given urgent healthcare.
He is my baby. I don't even feel like there is something wrong with him. He is so happy and beautiful all the time. I cry each time I cradle him in my arms, knowing how his own tiny heart is hell-bent on killing him from the inside. It is every parents' responsibility to protect their child from misfortunes. It kills me to know that we can't protect ours only because we don't have money.

My baby suffers from severe coarctation of aorta. It is a condition in which, due to the narrowing of the aorta, the desired level of oxygen-rich blood supply to heart is affected. We found out about my son's condition when I was nine-months pregnant. Imagine finding out your child has a life-threatening disease even before he is born. It was a difficult time, but I knew I had to do everything in my power to ensure the well-being of my baby. Now he is 2-month-old and we continue to fight for his safety, his life!
The doctors at Manipal Hospital have advised an urgent heart surgery, without which my baby's survival would be as good as none. The estimated cost is Rs 3 lakhs, and we are struggling to arrange the funds that could save my baby's life in such a short notice.

A teacher by profession, my husband is the sole earning member of the family and his monthly salary is Rs 7,800. It is difficult to survive with that salary, especially if your child requires constant medical support. We have been moving hospitals every since he was born and have exhausted whatever little savings we had.
If I could give my life to save my baby, I would do it in a heartbeat. But I know life doesn't work that way. We are in urgent need of funds and we are unable to arrange it. We have stayed strong for our baby for so long, but now we are beginning to lose hope.

If we can't arrange the funds within next few days, I will have no other option but to take my child home. I can't help but be an helpless mother and let his fate take its course.
Please don't let a mother lose hope. Please don't let my two-month-old baby die. His life is in your hand now, please help his mother save him. Your contribution through this fundraiser campaign will help this 2-month-old survive.
