Life at the age of 33 yrs in the need of generous help for Acute Leukemia treatment
My name is Rohit Sharma 33yrs married three years ago, was managing my small life with little means I had. Like all others at this stage of their life I was also looking to build my small family with shear dedication and diligence. I shifted my job to earn more for my family, the new contractual job though not having a health insurance but a small increase in the salary is all what I was looking to raise the standard of my family.
But God have something else to say, just only 15 days in my new job I got diagnosed with Acute Leukemia. With little funds I had and some borrowed from friends and relative I started my treatment but when the cost of my treatment includes bone marrow transplant and the cost amounts to Rs. 15 lakhs, it is beyond my reach and scope, I don’t now when I have to stop the treatment.
I heard that sharing your story to the people around may raise some funds for me as a kind help and I am now trying every nook and corner in the search of generous help for my treatment, I know my efforts may not give me the required amount but still my keep on trying is the only hope I got. I urge everybody to give me a generous help as much possible from their end to support me in this cause to fight against this deadly disease.
Your generous help will raise my confidence to fight this disease and if i survived through all my efforts by raising funds, it will inculcate a continued effort to help others suffered from the same. I urge to all the people going through my story to help me generously to prepare me for the rest of my life to fight for others suffered from the same, for their survival.
At every stage of life, reason for life is different, mine too at 33 was to implement what I had dreamed so far. But this change in life schedule has changed me into a person looking for humanity first by getting a generous help and then amplify the same for the others suffered from the same deadly disease.
In Gita Shri Krishna had said about Nishkam Karamyoga as a path to get out of the attached karmic influence and to the path of Gyana. I was not able to understand the concept though it is very clear that persons doing their work without any personal benefit desire just duty for the sake of duty comes to the enlighten path.
At this stage i find this generous help from all who are reading this story is like a nishkam karamyoga whose influence may enlighten not only the giver but the receiver whose confidence on the cosmos moral strengthens by this small acts of kindness.
Mahatama Gandhi had said once that god has only given us the choice of means and its effect is not under our control. This choice of means shapes your society, family etc. when I think of the choice of means in front of me, I find generous help in little bits from everybody around as the only mean to have funds for my treatment and the treatment of the others if I survives from the same.
