Smt. Manjulamma hails from a village called Beerangi in Srinivasapura taluk of Kolar district , Karnataka State. Socially she belongs to OBC (other backward community) and her family's traditional occupation is washing clothes and press. Since centuries this family has been living on this occupation.
On 1st February 2005, she delivered a quadruplets in RL Jalapa Medical Hospital in Tamaka, Kolar district.  Usually, when quadruplets born one or two or all the children die.  Then then, Medical Superintendent constituted a team of child specialists and instructed them to SAVE all the four children. He took it as a challange and kept the infants and the mother for 6 months and gave all the required medical care and saved all the four, in which One GIRL baby and 3 MALE babies. He requested the NGO, GRAMA VIKAS (GV) to sponsor all the four babies and the organisation has done what it could do to support the four children.  Since all the 4 children are in 6th the family find it very very difficult to rear them and give them education. One child got admitted into RL JALAPPA SCHOOL under RTE. One child is in Government school and the two other children RL JALAPPA. For these 3 children it costs about Rs.80,000/-. Mrs. Manjulamma's husband is working in RL JALPPPA MEDICAL COLLEGE to wash bedspreads, bed sheets, pillow covers and other clothes and press them for which he gets a salary of Rs.10,200/- to hand on which 8 people depend. Mrs. Manjulamma's uterus was removed and she is at home. Mrs. Manjulamma wanted to start a WASHING CLOTHES AND PRESSING shop near her house so that she can take care of her all the FOUR CHILDREN. Hereafter, she needs good amount of FINANCIAL RESOURCES to give education to all her four children. Now they are in 6th class. Henceforth, every year she needs more resources to give education to her ALL FOUR CHILDREN. She needs support for this project in three months time so that she can raise resources for her FOUR CHILDREN'S EDUCATION.

She will use the money for a room, a rack, material for dry cleaning, TABLE and IRON BOX.  THE  INCOME WHICH GENERATED will be used EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE EDUCATION OF HER 4 CHILDREN.
