Who am I?
My name is Prashant Madhukar and I have just completed my B.Tech degree in Computer Science from NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte. The reason for choosing this field is with the goal of bringing about a positive change in the life of people using the latest technologies. I am currently working towards app development to make innovative learning apps which will help people to learn in far remote areas. I am trying to engage education with small games to make learning far easier for people who can’t have formal education.
I applied for the Jagriti yatra this year to travel & understand the need of such learning apps in different parts of India and it gives me immense pleasure in sharing with everyone that I have been selected for the Yatra in December.

Jagriti Yatra is an ambitious train journey of discovery and transformation that takes hundreds of India's highly motivated youth, especially those who are from small towns and villages of India, on a 15 day, 8000 km national odyssey to meet the role models - social and business entrepreneurs - of the country.
Vision of Jagriti Yatra :
The vision of Jagriti is 'building India through enterprise'. It aims to inspire the young Indians living in the middle of the Indian demographic diamond to lead development by taking to the enterprise, thus unleashing a movement of Enterprise-led-development.
How will Yatra help me in my future endeavor?
Yatra will be a great opportunity to understand diverse India better and develop customized solutions in the years to come. I would be traveling with 400 motivated people who have been selected for the Yatra from various sectors and are trying to make a positive impact on the society with their work in the various areas like Agriculture, Education, Energy, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Water & Sanitation, Arts & Culture & Sports. I will be meeting various role models, change-makers, leaders that started out on a journey just like me and made a difference to thousands of lives. I will also be making interaction with like-minded young leaders- my co-Yatris who have tried to implement various idea in their local area. Overall this Yatra will help me to learn and think in the right direction and target right audience.
Sponsored Amount Required :
The fee of the Yatra is 66,000 INR and Jagriti Team awarded me part sponsorship of Rs 30,000/- and now I am seeking external sponsorship to support my Yatra.
Total amount needed to fund for the 2018-19 Jagriti Yatra is- 6,000 INR (Registration charges) + 30,000 INR (Yatra fee) = 36,000 INR. I am very actively seeking sponsors as soon as possible who can help me with an amount of 36,000 INR.
I would be very grateful if you can help in this noble cause and empower me to achieve my noble dream.
