My father was the head of a 6 member family, that consisted of my father, mother, younger brother and two sisters(who are now married). My father worked as a driver for a tourism company that paid him 7000 rupees as salary. We lived in a rented house in Najafgarh shown in the pictures. You can imagine how hard it was for him to raise us, get my sisters married and provide us an education. However, he succeeded in doing so by borrowing from relatives whenever needed.

On 9th of August, 2017, he suddenly suffered a stroke/seizure(the exact cause is unknown) and died while watching TV. We rushed him to the hospital where he was declared brought dead. Even then we went to more hospitals, but my father was gone.

It has been very difficult for me and especially my mother to deal with this sudden loss. She is still in shock and unable to accept it.

Me and my brother succeeded in getting a graduate degree, but we are currently unemployed due to lack of significant employable skills as our primary and secondary education was in a Hindi Medium Government School. We do not have any assets or money to start even a small business or a shop. We have no savings. My father didn't have any retirement plan, PF or insurance. We are thus left with no support.

I am in the process of finding a job since a few months. I have been preparing for goverment exams and giving some tuitions to provide for the family.

With my father gone, it is now my responsibility to look after my family. But it is difficult without a job and lack of aid from relatives. Thus, I need money to provide my family with food and shelter for some time, until I get a good job. I hope you will help me. It will be very kind of you and I will be forever grateful to you.
