Buy A Brick, Help Nanhi Dunya make lives better for little ones!

                                            Gift a brick!

And help the children of Nanhi Dunya.

Hi my name is Satvika,

I have been working at Nanhi Dunya for the past 9 years. Nanhi Dunya is a Waldorf- inspired initiative in Northern India. The movement offers educational opportunities to children from the most vulnerable and starkly economically deprived backgrounds, as well as to those with learning difficulties, decreased welfare of women and children and those in need of special care. Therefore I desperately need your help!

Our current building for these students needs enhancements to accommodate their specific requirements.  I am asking you to Gift a Brick to the school, so the structure can provide a safe space that promotes social interaction, a better education and a chance of assurance from their current unstable situations. The power of education in these vulnerable children’s lives cannot be underestimated, and a space designed to meet the children’s' needs will help each child grow both mentally and physically, giving them the best start and opportunity in life.

At Nanhi Dunya, they want to embrace all differences and create learning environments via new dimensions in the field of education and holistic living for all children.
Please consider helping us reach our goal! With each passing day, these children miss the opportunity to expand their world and have an education like many other children.

Kiran Ulfat Goyal who runs the school has dedicated her whole life to Nanhi Dunya, her pure passion, commitment and love is the driving force behind sustainment and survival of this wonderful place. Anyone who comes to, or volunteers at the center always admires the real inspiration, raw authenticity and charm the nature of this school has. By donating one brick or more, this can help this school to keep the magic alive and carry on with the beautiful work they do at Nanhi Dunya!
Without this school, these children of Dehradun would have limited possibilities and a life of uncertainty and nowhere to call home. This school provides the only help and solution to these children and their education. The cost of one brick including cement, workmanship, and design is Rs 100, but all donations are most welcome .

Nanhi Dunya is a Non Profit Organization who relies solely on donations, and parent’s contributions and could really do with your help! So please donate to this remarkable school so they can carry on with their wonderful work in helping the lives of vulnerable children, women and their families.

There are a few ways that one could help us;
1. By donating here:
2. By spreading the word and forwarding this email on to your colleges, family and friends
3. By printing out the attached Poster which will help raise awareness for our project
4. I would like to take this opportunity to invite individuals who are interested in the work of Nanhi Dunya; and who are willing to serve children whole heartily to come and join us. No Aim can be realized without the help of dedicated workers. The welfare activities of Nanhi Dunya need good teachers, co workers volunteers and real friends.
Suggestions for our future work are always welcome. For further information please quick reply to this
This is crucial to the survival of this magical School, and most importantly the future of the children.
Please let me know if you have any questions as I will be more than happy to help.
“Let us live to serve the child.”

Keep the child alive in you!Prof Lekh Raj Ulfat.

Dear Supporters,

Nanhi Dunya would love to thank all that have donated so far, we are slowly reaching our goal, All of you have given so generously and for that we will be forever grateful! But we are still a long way off, so please keep sharing with your friends and loved ones!

At all the branches of Nanhi Dunya, workshops have started to help the children in the Arts, Drama and Music departments to encourage the students to improve and show off their creative potential. The children have been working really hard at producing their own dance routines, creating clay models, and baking their own names. This provides an opportunity to develop the skills to improve imagination, perseverance, problem solving, social interaction, team work and self regulation in which to help them grow and develop.

One star of ours has even made it into the news with her hard work and dedication for the welfare of children. Ashu Goyal was honored with the Bharat Vikas Ratan Award and certificate of excellence for best talented person for outstanding achievement as a social activist by analyzing her individual contribution for National Economic and Social Development.
She has been attending various conferences, seminars around the world for social causes related to environment, social and global transformation, cultural exchange, diversity and social reforms. Her continued work is an inspiration to us all and here at the school we are incredibly proud of her and her achievements.

The ongoing work at this movement should be a motivational force for us but still has a while to go. Please keep sharing with all your friends and family so this school can carry on helping these wonderful children learn, grow and develop in the best possible environment. We really appricate all the help we have recieved so far and this school is the rainbow between east and west, all donations and volunteers is such a appreciation and the children, the staff and everyone involved in Nanhi Dunya will be internally thankful.
