I, Santosh Kumar, Son of Upendra Chary, who has been working as mechanic and farmer in our Village. He met with an accident while repairing a machine. His hand went into the gear box of concrete mixer machine. Immediately we rushed to near by Hospital(Khammam), where they suggested to remove hand, but on the advise of plastic surgeon to save my father's hand we moved to Yashoda Halospital- Secunderabad. There my father went through four Surgeries.1. Removed all the flesh from elbow to wrist(as the grease kills flesh) and removed the major bone powdered pieces. And fixed broken fingers.2. Opened the portion of abdomen and attached the hand to stomach.
3. They kept the hand in the abdomen for 40 days and after blood flow starts doctors separated hand from abdomen.
4. Removed skin from thighs and attached the skin to hand and stomach from where flesh removed.
In the process of saving my father we made debts, still my dad needs treatment. Because of lack of funds the physiotherapy and the further surgery has beeb stopped.
Till now we spent around 8 Lack rupees and to continue the treatment and for the medical expenses we need 4 lack rupees more.


My family depends on my dad and we do Rice farming in our village.

The one who took my father for the machune repair excaped and since thenno one took the responsibility for the accident.
We filed case against him.
Case FIR No 124/2017.in Dornakal Police Station, Mahabubabad District.

We will proceed to next surgery(to remove clips from broken bones attachment) and two hand bones re-fixation and further plastic surgery.
