After much consultations, my father was scheduled for Chemotherapy in March, 2017 at Tata Memorial Hospital. My father is a teacher my profession and had a monthly salary of Rs.10,000. He is the sole earning member of the family and because of his condition, he has been on leave seen December.
My father was initially against this treatment since he was worried we won't be able to pay off the medical bills. But he is my father, how can I treat his life so casually? How can I just sit and watch him die? So, we managed to arrange 5 lakhs and paid for his entire chemotherapy.

Story
My name is Mehdi Hasan. I am a 25-year-old with dreams of building a good career and financially support my family of four, taking off the burden from the sole shoulders of my father. But now I am in a struggle to save my father's life. We are moving from hospital to hospital for the past five months now, trying to keep him alive.
"We have been struggling to make ends meet since December"
Last December, my 50-year-old father, Mukarram Hussain was diagnosed with B-Cell Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. Upon diagnosis, we took him to a hospital in our hometown. But the doctors there couldn't find a way to completely treat him, so I decided to bring my father here.

But as it seems chemotherapy alone isn't enough. The doctors say that my father needs to undergo radiotherapy as well. This brings upon us an additional cost of 1.75 lakhs.
We have exhausted whatever little savings we have to get him treated. Back home as well, my mother and my 18-year-old sister are struggling to survive on meagre means.
While in today's time 1.75 lakh isn't a big amount, but we are just a poor family and for us it is a matter of life and death.

"I will be forever grateful to the doctors who are helping us. I am hesitant to request for more. But I know if I don't, my father will die"

How you can help
Please don't let me and sister lose our father. Please don't let my mother lose her husband. Funds raised will help him undergo the treatment for the next 5 weeks which is crucial for his recovery.
This family is struggling a lot. Your contribution will help Mukarram stay alive for his family.
