    This fundraiser will benefit

    Mr. madhukar Izak Chaudhary

    from Surat, Gujarat

Mr. Madhukar Chaudhary is my uncle and a contracted paramedic cum ambulance driver providing his services to RIL Industries Ltd  Hazira since 1990. His monthly salary is Rs. 12000/- per month and has a family of 6 members to look after.

He had minor abdominal pain on 22/04/2017 for which he sought a medical help from private medical practitioner in the village Paal Surat where he resides at tenant. The private practitioner treated him for five days and then he referred him to Parijat Medical Hospital, Adajan Patia, Surat for further treatment under special care of Dr. Vijay Mehta (M.D.).

Dr. Vijay Mehta carried out multiple investigations to reach to certain diagnostic conclusion. He also carried out USG Abd. which revealed suspected right colon and hepatic flexure transverse colon with diffuse thickening of wall and colonoscopy was suggested. reports also indicated hepatomegaly due to pathogenic invasion of unidentified origin.

he was treated in Parijat Hospital for another 7 days but his helath conditions kept detoriorating  each day. He was then referred to SIDS  ( Surat institute of Digestive Science) hospital, Majuragate, Surat for further treatmet under care of Dr. Karshan Nadaniya (M.D.) who treated him for five days but in vain. finally medical experts advised him to shift him to Metas Adventist Hospital, Athwalines, Surat where he was shifted in almost dead condition on 13/05/2017 since then he is in ICCU fighting a battle for his life. Other investigations carried out at Metas suggested that he is suffering  from Septicemia with multi organ dysfunction with multiple bacterial (Acinatobacter) and fungal (Candida) massive invasion in lungs. lately he also has developed Pneumonia due to severe infection. he has been in ICCU since last 15 days and doctors suggest that they may require to keep him in ICCU for another week time to cope-up with the massive infection he is suffering from.

The family has been purchasing the costly medicines (approx. worth Rs. 25 - 28,000 per day and now financially exhausted. There are no other option left but to seek a helping hand from volunteer donors who could upfront and extend some financial help. The family has borrowed and used more than Rs.2,75,00/= for paying previous hospital's bills and buying medicines in cash.

Approximate bill in Metas Adventist Hospital for a 10 days is 2.45,000/- (Bill uploaded). And we are told that we should be prepared to keep him in ICCU for another 10 more days. we all relatives through contribution have managed to meet the expenditure up till now but all relatives are from middle class and can't afford much financial assistance.

we are left with no other option but to raise funds from kind hearted volunteer donors who could help us save us his life. had the situation been not this critical we could have taken him to some other hospital where he could have availed treatment in lesser expenses. We now can't even move him to other hospital for his condition is very critical. Dr. Ramesh Surti and his team is doing wonderful job at Metas Hospital Surat and he is improving a lot in spite of life threatening infections.

for further queries concerning the patient you are requested to contact me on 7588001077 or a MOD of Metas Adventist Hospital on 9624555777 who can connect via intercom to the intensivist directly in ICCU for the latest updates on patient's health condition.

we as a family shall highly remain obliged to all the kind hearted donors who would come upfront and extend a helping hand toward restoring a precious life and a family of a six persons care taker.
