About MIT:
“Mind and Hand” is the thought-provoking motto of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, also known as MIT is the #1 ranked institute globally.

When I was in 9th standard I started learning basics of Web Development I was fascinated developing small web pages. During my middle school, I used to collect crafts from other students and sell it outside in the colony paying them the commission which subconsciously was my very first startup. As time passed, I entered graduate school, I joined IEEE (a tech society) and IIPC(Entrepreneurship club) at my university after which I came to know that I am highly fascinated by tech as-well-as business and without wasting time I started working in the direction of brushing-up my skills. Hard work well paid, now I am the Chairperson of IEEE at my Student Branch, the Web Developer at Section and R10 level. Clarity of vision is what makes me dare to challenge and keep pushing myself to explore, perform and succeed in goals. I have a dream, a big dream to make a positive impact on society, and experience long-term transformations in the present system. I don't just dream but do dare to work for it. I am already working with an NGO Promoting Canadian Education in India since last 3 years. I also participate regularly in Hackathons and Ideathons where I prototype business in 24 hours and also won few of them.
"MIT Innovation & Entrepreneurship Bootcamp" aligns perfectly with my career goals and will act as a perfect launchpad in the world of entrepreneurship.

About me attending the Bootcamp:
Knowing the fact that I won’t be able to fund myself, I still applied for the Bootcamp as I believe that where there is a will, there's a way.
For me to be able to attend this boot camp and live my dream, I will need all your help and heartfelt support.
Currently, I am looking for funding for my visit to this Bootcamp. Approximate cost for the trip is as follows.
Tuition fee to be paid to MIT - USD 6500
Flight ticket (round trip) - USD 1400 (approx.)
Accommodation in Australia - USD 900 (approx.)
Total = USD 8800 (estimate) which comes to around 6.5 Lakhs INR but I am thinking of raising $6500 i.e. only the tuition fee through this platform.
With the help of family and friends I am able to collect 2 lacs.

Why MIT Bootcamp is important for me?
I'll use the opportunity to attend the bootcamp to:
  • Refine my business skills: Since I come from an Engineering background, I have been learning lessons in Entrepreneurship the hard way up till now. At the bootcamp, I'll learn from some of the best technology entrepreneurs from all over the world. It would be the best opportunity for me to meet great minds like Mr.  Bill Aulet and many others in person and get mentorship and feedback on your startup.
  • Network: I'll get to talk to, and possibly collaborate with, people solving the same problem in different parts of the world. This will be an opportunity to bring even more innovation to my startup. This opportunity will expose me to the knowledge base that people owe at MIT
  • Enhancing the user experience of Indian customers using new Technologies:  MIT is undoubtedly the world's #1 school for STEM subjects. There are a lot of innovative and disruptive technologies that are developed there and have the potential to impact the world. My intent is to observe their cutting-edge solutions and adapt them to the best of my abilities for India.
  • If everything went well, I will come back with a startup of mine either with or without investment but I will ensure that I will come back with something that remains with me throughout my career.
  • Support my application for Masters in MIT (if applied for in future)
