The boy in the picture is Gowtham aged 15 years and he is studying in 10th std in Bangalore. He has lost his father and mother 5 years back and is staying with his Grand Mother. He was perfectly fine till he met with an accident and broke his left arm 4 years back. Doctors advised to do a major surgery to his left arm. The surgery had involved inserting two plates into his arm and surgery had costed around Rs 90,000. Doctors have informed to come back after one year to remove the plates from his arm. After 1 year, because of poor financial background of his grandmother, he could not get the surgery done to remove the plates as the removal surgery costed Rs 60,000 and left it as is. The boy is suffering from pain once in a while and from lost 6 months the pain is severe as plates are getting penetrating into bones. Also, he is not able to sleep at night and is not able to concentrate on his studies. So they met the doctors again in April 2017 and this time the surgery cost quoted by the Hospital was Rs 1,00,000. After humble request by his grandmother, the cost was reduced to Rs 50000 by the Hospital. This surgery of removal of plates and screws has to be done very urgently and, otherwise it would cause further damage to his arm. Considering the very poor financial back ground of his grandmother, Since the surgery has to be done as soon as possible. Please donate for a good cause, so that Boy can continue his studies for his 10th std.

Note: We have tried to get the surgery done from Charity hospitals, such as Satya Sai Hospital, Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama health Services and other places also. The opinion that we had received from all the doctors was to get the surgery done at the place where it was done for the first time. So now Hostmat surgeons have to do this surgery at Hosmat hospital.
