Tanushree being a bright student right from her childhood had been fighting the deadliest disease, chronic myeloid leukemia. She has been a very strong girl mentally and has immense will power with the help of which she continued to study and clear her board exams with this disease over the last few years. Spending most of the time in travelling to Vellore for her treatment and fighting against her pain and intensive bleeding every now and then.

The family has a poor income of around 5ks a month and Tanushree’s father Abhijit is struggling each day to survive. The medicine has to be continued over a period of few years or possibly for the rest of her life until she gets capable for a bone marrow transplanation. There might be some unforeseen complications which might increase the cost.
