I'm Shivarudrappa writing about my 10th grade friend who is coming from a small village in Mandya, Karantaka belonging to BSF, sustained a severe injury in his leg below the knee during gun battle with Naxals on Feb 6th, 2018 at Chattishgarh. He is expected to be bed ridden for about 6 months. I'm sure his department might support in all the way for the battle that he had gone through but this is an opportunity for all of us to do a little for his well being. These solders who always protect us by paying their life deserve to get more than any sports or cini celebrities does receive. Today, I'm so proud of my own friend who sustained and won the fight by killing the enemies even after a bullet pierced his leg. I have heard of such battles and stories of a soldiers who dies to protect us but it was heart touching when I got to hear from my own friend. He was so appreciative about BSF officers, SoS and jawans who acted very quickly to rescue him, else one of his leg wound have been no more today, thanks to all of them. Friends, whatever we do here is never comparable for the job that they do for us. We solute and forget. When media heroes could get so much of support, why not our real heroes primarily comes from poor background who would be always ready to die for us? May be skipping one sitting in a pub or a dinner in a hotel would do much for his and his family well being. Help me doing a little to my FRIEND, a soldier of this nation.
