This is a fund raising request for cancer treatment of Amit Mishra, a freind of mine, who has been suffering with Soft Tissue Sarcoma cancer since July 2016. This is metastatis cancer which is a very rare and agressive cancer as it spreads rapidly in the body and the life expectancy is very low.

Initially, Amit was admitted in Apollo,New Delhi for a month where he spent close to 2.5 lakh rupees for his treatment and exhausted his Insurance cover. Subsequently, he was transferred to AIIMS (All India Institue of Medical Sciences) where he underwent Chemo therapy for 4 months.

Currently, he is at home taking medicines which are substitute of chemo therapy and the cost towards the life-saving treatment is astronomical (approx.70000 rupees per month). Amit is finding very difficult to manage the expenses for his survival despite all the support he is receiving from friends, relatives and co-workers.
His father expired in his childhood and currently he is also responsible to take care of his dependent mother, wife and 4 years old daughter.
