Help Ajay ( RAAH NGO) build a FREE SCHOOL for underprivileged children.
What can one person do?
A lot if he has decided to dedicate his entire life to a cause. A lot if he has braced himself to brave all the challenges that will cross his path in the pursuit of his goal. A lot if he is committed to succeed at any cost, not for himself, but for the many lives he is trying to change.
Mr. Ajay Dubey perfectly exemplifies this spirit.
The Founder of Raah, an NGO registered under the 'Society of Registrar Office' (Reg. no. - 03/27/03/16454/13), he has been tirelessly working to bring the underprivileged children on the path of education for the last 13 years.
These children, belonging to the lowest strata of the society, coming from families with little or almost no income, are highly susceptible to becoming the victims of exploitation, abuse and addiction.
Providing them education is giving them a chance to rewrite their destiny and create a life of dignity for themselves, their family members and their coming generations.
And Ajay, drawing inspiration from Nelson Mandela’s words that education is the greatest weapon that can change the world, is silently playing his role in making this world a better place.
Till date, he has single-handedly fulfilled the dream of schooling for more than 200 poor and orphan children – admitting them in various schools and fulfilling their educational needs viz. fees, uniform, books, stationery, etc.
His path has been fraught with many difficulties. Lack of funds and resources has continuously tested his commitment to the cause.
But Ajay has found an innovative way to address them. He collects raddi, meaning old newspapers from people's homes and sells them to raise money to be able to fulfill the huge responsibility that he has taken up. Just goes to prove that where there is a will, there is a way.
Now Ajay is planning to build a full-fledged school for 1000 such needy children. Raah Vidya Niketan will be a place where better, brighter and happier tomorrow will take shape.
A dream, a destination - Raah Vidya Niketan
Raah Vidya Niketan will be an educational institution where needy children will be provided free of cost schooling and boarding in a safe, caring and uplifting environment.
The goal is to create a platform where children will be given practical and employment-oriented school education through experts, which will help them become financially secure and capable of paying for their own higher studies in the future.
Here, the focus will be on the mental, physical, emotional and moral development of these children so that they grow into well-grounded and confident individuals - capable of contributing in the betterment of the society, country and the world.
A unique self-sustaining model:
Raah Vidya Niketan will be a free school for children which will entirely run on donation. To provide for the regular expenses, we plan to create an organic farm and a gaushala in the premises. It will help us to produce food and dairy items which can be sold in the market to earn money.
Given the scenic appeal of the place, we also plan to have a family picnic/party area which will help in bringing in money. A science park is also proposed where students of schools can come for a day trip.
All these efforts are directed to make Raah Vidya Niketan a self-sustaining school.

With a lot of grit and gumption, the foundation of this mammoth project Raah Vidya Niketan has already been laid. 2 acres of land in the village Sendal, behind Bai Gram Shani Mandir, district Indore, has been bought for this purpose.
We soon plan to begin the process of construction. And this is where we need a helping hand from all people. Since no fees whatsoever will be charged from the students, we are completely dependent on donations from kind-hearted people around the world.
Raah Vidya Niketan will be built in phases. In the first phase, 7 classrooms will be constructed so that the process of education delivery can be initiated soon. The cost for the same will be around Rs. 11 lakh Rupees Only .
