I am a mother,when doctor gave me my baby wrapped in soft cloth,shielding him from germs and any unhygienic condition, that very day i promised my son that i will always be his soft blanket protecting him from all those things that may hurt him but i failed to keep that promise.He was seen by the departmnet of haematology Christian medical college vellore & diagnosed to have thalassemia major (This is a type of blood disorder) His brother's HLA is matched and can serve as a bone marrow donor and the best option for him would be to undergo allogenic bone marrow (Rs. Fourteen Lacs). My husband is a small cloth shop merchant.We belong to a lower middle class with little income. My husband is struggling hard to maintain the family expenses since there is no sufficient income for us.My family consists of 4 members with very little income. Its quite difficult for us to afford such expensive treatment. He is suffering from the disease and being a mother i am feeling that pain. I want to keep that promise that i did to my son. I want to see him living painless happy life. Plaese help.
