13-year-old Harshita is suffering from end-stage liver cirrhosis secondary to a liver abnormality disease called-Glycogen storage disease. She was diagnosed with this disease when she was just 2 years old. Her father, Raja, is a cab driver and her mother is a homemaker. Harshita has a brother,Nitin, who is in 10th grade. Harshita is need of support to undergo an urgent  liver transplant. 

Harshita has had health issues since she was just 10 months. Her condition worsened when she turned 2 years old. She is 13 years old now and has been on continuous treatment all these years. Despite the treatment, pain and discomfort, Harshita is one of the toppers in class and has received her scholarship for school education.

Harshita Is A Brilliant Student 

Harshitha is a sharp 13-year-old who enjoys Math and Chemistry in school.  Like her older brother, Nitin, Harshita is fascinated by the Rubik's cube and spends her time practising.Shailaja, Harshita's mother feels her daughter is usually in pain, but tries not to show it because it might upset her father. Shailaja is trying to stay positive about the situation seeing how strong her daughter is about the situation.

Harshita's Needs An Urgent Liver Transplant

Harshita is fit to undergo a liver transplant which will cure her disease. Fortunately, her mother is a potential donor and she has volunteered to donate a portion of her liver.
Harshita's doctors have brought down the cost of transplant to Rs 12.5 lakhs. Her family has managed to arrange for 2.5 lakhs. They are unable to arrange for the rest of money in such a short period of time.
